Cornucopia Lodge’s Own W. Rodney Artis Leads Another Life-Saving Blood Drive

On February 15, 2025, the Queens Masonic District held another successful Blood Drive at the Advanced Masonic Temple in Long Island City. Spearheaded by W. Rodney Artis, a dedicated brother of Cornucopia Lodge No. 563 and the district’s Blood Drive Chairman, the event once again showcased the Masonic commitment to service and relief.

A Lifesaving Mission

Blood donations are critical for hospitals, trauma centers, and patients battling illnesses, surgeries, and emergencies. Each pint donated has the potential to save three lives, making every donor a silent hero. Thanks to the efforts of W. Rodney Artis and the generosity of our brothers and community members, this drive yielded 67 pints, meaning an incredible 201 lives will be saved.

Cornucopia Lodge’s Commitment to Charity

As an esteemed brother of Cornucopia Lodge, W. Rodney Artis has been leading quarterly blood drives, ensuring that the Masonic community remains a pillar of support for those in need. His tireless dedication to this cause reflects the values we uphold as Masons—charity, brotherhood, and service. Through his leadership, Cornucopia Lodge and the Queens District continue to make a tangible impact, reinforcing the importance of giving back.

Be a Part of the Next Drive

If you missed this drive, there’s always another opportunity to donate and make a difference. Join W. Rodney Artis and your fellow Masons in supporting our next Queens Masonic District Blood Drive—because together, we are not just giving blood, we are saving lives.

A heartfelt thank you to all who donated, volunteered, and supported this cause. Let’s continue the tradition of Masonic service and relief, one donation at a time.
